Date: November 8th, 2024 3:10 AM Author: jafar I wish there was an actual way to search my poasts bc I had a writeup on this from 2020 or so but The big thing that bothers me with it, especially because libs are supposedly so against coercion, "microfascisms", and intruding on personal agency---they IMPOSE themselves and their artificially constructed identity upon you by demanding that you refer to them with these practically titular names and declare you some sort of villain or reactionary (not even an insult!) if you very sensibly refuse It's a colossal imposition on your own understanding of what the norm is for you and frankly quite decadent and mentally taxing with the assumption that 1. it is important to you 2. it is *actually* important to them 3. they are entitled to it |
