Man, I'm having a f*cking blast so far. Tons of parties, people getting blasted every night. Of course once classes start, we will calm down just a little bit. Lol. But i've been going out to tons of spots in boston and meeting chicks left and right. You're right about the H-bomb. It's definitely powerful! Half of my classmates are in relationships, but it's not going to last past black october. People are hooking up like rabbits already, and any long-distance relationship will not last. I have my eye on a few chicks; we'll see what unfolds.
You should join us for a trip once you're done with applications. We already have plans to go to brazil, vegas, miami, carribbean, europe. Pretty much wherever we want.

Date: February 11th, 2026 9:00 PM Author: Tripping tattoo I went to an MBA program ranked a little below those. Had big ambitions but the frustrating thing was that a lot of the classes seemed to focus on how to be a middle manager. Even the case studies that did focus on CEO's were more about what they did as CEO, not how they clawed their way to the top, which is what would have really been interesting.
There was also an entrepreneurship program that I called controlled opposition. They had a bunch of people teaching entrepreneurship who often didn't know what they were talking about or have much of a track record. Cynically, it seemed like a way for the school to have students sow their wild oats and make a doomed attempt at a start up, before marching off to their cubicle careers.
That being said, I found mentors within the school who did know what they were talking about and started a company while in business school. It was brutally hard but years later, most would call me an MBA success story. That being said, I wonder whether I should have gone or not. |

if you're reasonably creative and have a technical niche in anything (i assume you don't), trying building an ai business on your own
also generally try to exhaust other options
if you can't be convinced otherwise:
go to columbia for most things for nyc access
go to booth if you want to / are capable of doing quant finance, or anything related to it, or if you think you can be among the top 1-2% of students to get a serious audience with professors to work on something productive
go to tuck if you're a rich wasp with a job lined up via family, or are happy to do vanilla consulting, if that still exists in 5 years outside of mbb |
