Like the east coast, Appalachia etc. Has largely all been logged multiple times, highly cultivated land, only small patches of pristine ecosystems with true biodiversity. Someone in England will show a pic of "nature" over there and it's endless overgrazed fields with barely a tree in sight. There are levels to it. Date: March 26th, 2026 3:04 AM Author: Shaky location there are some beautiful parts of the east coast, just like anywhere. but the best parts are truly coastal and due to population density, truly just 'parts.' rural shithole states like maine have more but it's not particularly accessible or regionally varied. most of the outdoor grandeur that can be had somewhere like that is all curated for tourist commerce unless you're willing to spend a lot of actual time in the area getting off the beaten path.
there is more scenic beauty and impressive landscape around an absurd number of buttfuck egypt small towns in rural idaho or northern california or the colorado western slope, to name a few, all just unremarkable little shit areas swaddled in an environment that blows most anywhere on the east coast into oblivion. the diverse and rugged beauty of the american west captivates the world. the east coast produced the ll bean aesthetic and is indistinguishable from the trampled and dreary boglands all over the european continent. |
