I can't stand the insecurity of Jews in the west and how this results in them constantly trying to undermine national and God forbid racial identity of the 'host' but I don't see how Israel fits there. With that said, Israel is like a forward operating base in the middle east. Jews are irrational wanting this shit area, but it furthers US interests, so we invest in keeping our outpost.
We pay to cover the externalities, one of those was bribing Egypt not to lead the arabs in the effort to kill all the Jews and the other is paying Israel a nominal amount for defense and giving them access to US contractors and advanced weapons (they'd steal it if we didn't subsidize them). |
