Women especially love projecting their own understanding of what is attractive onto men. To wit:

- women think that having a successful career makes them attractive

- women think that their sexual past is not a big deal

- women think that being overweight is not a big deal

- women think that being older than 25 is not a big deal

In short, they assume the way that they judge men is how they will be judged. It isn't. Men are not generally looking for mannish women.

Moreover, women are largely incapable of assessing these things objectively, either about themselves or their friends. They persistently inflate estimations of themselves and each other, and then are unhappy when they don't have suitors of commensurate value to these expectations. Every man of substantial value either got taken off the market in his 20s or has decided to fuck 18-22yos until he dies. The middling men available to 30yo girlbosses with platoons of bodies are, if anything, a market inefficiency of charity.

both men and women have gigantic blind spots to what the other wants. largely because modern bullshit has taught people that we're all the same. you're right that women don't "get" that men want someone young, pure, and more dedicated to something other than career. but likewise, modern men don't "get" that women want a man that is superior than them.

I don't spend much time on incel forums but the red pill types I have seen on Twitter / old reddit (think roissy / heartiste / roosh / rollo) are keenly aware that women want a man who makes more money, is older, and that physique matters less than personality / frame. This is all pretty foundational 2014-2017 red pill shit, and what little I've seen of red pill twitter lately bears that out. Maybe I'm just not at the cutting edge of this, but I think in general guys are much more keenly aware of this than women are.

I also don't think that equating frustration to total obliviousness is correct. I think in many cases loser guys are aware of the metrics by which they are judged, they're just unhappy with them. I think that by and large, the majority of chronically single women have literally no idea why.
