All the things that made Vegas affordable for middle class families were pushed out for the expensive, gay pool parties and clubs and there are 500 more $80 a plate restaurants and the lowest stakes tables at every casino are like $25/hand unless you’re there on a weeknight. It’s now built for people who can drop $8k on a 3-5 day “work trip” that’s mostly comped even though it’s actually a solo vacation with some conferences that are optional. But then if you go to the 30 year old prole MGM casinos in the south strip like Excalibur and NYNY and you find Vegas of 25 years ago and it’s full of smoke and old and grimy and the proles are all drunk losers mad that they’re down $350 at a $10 blackjack table and it also sucks and you realize you should just not go to Vegas.
