You always hate having to cut an asset loose, but they already have several folks in the "sleezy but kind of chadly white male" lane, which is also a lane that they hate having to go to in general and only pick from when they're on their heels.
EDIT: It's better that it went quick, though. Just look at it as the modern version of when Zero Wolf emotionlessly stabs his own soldier in the chest and pushes him off a waterfall. |
