Was 180. I used to love traveling before I had kids. But traveling with kids you realize how amazing it is. I'm so glad I was able to share this experience with my children. I'm also glad I had children in my early 30s so I'm young enough and have enough energy to do this for another 20 years. My step dad adopted my younger brother and sister when he was in his 40s and he definitely was too old to be raising kids. They don't have the same close relationship with him that I have with my kids. And there is no way to fix that. I feel so blessed tbh.
We started in Dublin and stayed at the Westbury Hotel (5 stars!). We had two connecting rooms which was sick so that I could bang my wife at night when the kids were asleep in their own room. We also had a private driver for the entire trip that picked us up and took us anywhere we wanted. Very expensive but i'm rich and it was worth it. The hotel was in a great area and there was a ton of things to see and walk to.
First day wife and I also got tattoos. Was her first, my second. It was a great bonding experience. My kids thought it was pretty cool too! We checked out Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, St. Patricks Cathedral, Trinity College/Book of Kells. We also did afternoon high tea with the kids.
The driver then picked us up and we headed over to Killarney. It was a long drive so we stopped in Adare on the way. It was a beautiful town and had a sick castle. The weather was a bit gloomy and no one booked a tour of the castle for the day. So we were the only ones on the tour. So it was basically private. It was a hot 20 year old girl with a great ass giving the tour. She gave my kids swords and shields and they had a blast play fighting while we walked around. I'm pretty sure I could have banged her.
After that we headed to Killarney and stayed at another 5 star resort. The next morning we were picked up by a horse and carriage and taken to Ross Castle. I felt like Royalty. After the tour of the castle, our driver then took us through part of the ring of Kerry. Amazing views.
The next day we headed off to Ashford Castle. On the way we stopped at the Cliffs of Moher. The kids thought it was super cool and the views were incredible. One of my favorite parts of the trip.
Ashford Castle has to be the coolest place I've ever stayed. It was about 2.5K/night and we stayed two nights. It had a 180 restaurant, gardens, secret passages, a cigar lounge, and a bunch of other cool stuff. Did shooting, the kids saw sheep dogs, and we went into Galway for a food tour. We had 6 different stops and the kids really enjoyed it. Our room was sick and had a second floor where the kids slept. I feel bad for people who can't afford to do this at least once in their life.
On the first night I went to the cigar bar and met a couple from Virginia. They were late 50s but would have totally fit in with the XO crowd. He was a cigar lobbyist for the last 17 years. We talked for a couple hours and when I left I had pretty much convinced them to try Molly once they got back home. I am glad I was able to get them to seriously consider having that experience.
Then we headed back to Dublin. On the way there we hit Irelands oldest bar. After we got back into to Dublin we did the afternoon tea bus with the kids to cap off the trip.
Overall it was a great time. Definitely recommend traveling with kids you love and who love you unconditionally back. It's a magical experience.

180. When my wife and I went, we stayed at B&Bs and got to talk to a lot of old Irish grandmas and grandpas. I'll never forget the grandma who stanned Westlife and wouldn't stop talking through breakfast about how wholesome the boys were. I love that kind of experience meeting people who remember the country before globohomo.
I remember driving through the country side navigating (my wife falls asleep if she navigates) and how funny I found some of the village names. There was one that was something like "Killinaspic" that I just could not stop laughing about even though we were lost.
This was when we had no money and we didn't use international smartphone data. We used actual paper maps. Was 180. I actually only used a GPS/smartphone map once on vacation, and that was in Norway. The rest, paper maps are so much fun. Gives you a great feeling of nostalgia.
Did Moher still have some snow? I doubt it. I think when we went it was April or May, and there was still patches of snow around when we made it to the Cliffs. Maybe we went in fall? I can't remember. I just remember being excited about going to Ireland during the rainy season for the full experience. So many times I'd be taking a panorama and would have to pull my extra jacket out and shield the camera on its tripod.

I actually have no problem spending money. And I make so much of it, so easily, that I have an abundance mindset. So, I don't really have any fear of not making it anymore. On top of that, my passive income dwarfs my annual spending and I could spend 3-5x as much even if I never worked again. That's what being rich feels like, brother!
I just don't have a lot of things I feel like spending money on. I buy everything I want and never think about cost, it just happens that there is nothing expensive that I really want. I prefer to spend time with friends and family hanging out, and my hobbies. I like doing recreational drugs, BJJ (which I started again), lifting weights, shooting guns (I do 1-2x/month), watching movies, degenerate threesomes with my wife and other girls, sex with just my wife, reading, traveling, etc. None of those are really that expensive. Flying business class isn't something I really care about. I have no problem dropping 10K on something I want, it's just not on the list, brother.
