I listened to Jensen Huang explain it and he made a compelling case. He said it's largely a business tool that produces high level slop that will replace low level white collar jobs. And the slop will slowly get incrementally better over time so it can replace even more low level white collar jobs. It's kinda like saying Google calendar and smart phones replaced having secretaries. It's just that but slightly bigger in scope.

Elites like it because it's an investment opportunity that will make them richer. At the same time these people are sending their kids to summer camp with no phones and are maximizing human face to face interaction. They don't want to personally deal with slop.
