Sublime has aged incredibly well like the Sopranos

Xo shits on sublime.
But I like to listen to them while I'm out back drinking on my deck and I'm not going to let a bunch of bald online misanthropes stop me.

all the "cool kids" liked sublime back in the day. they were "cool" because the "cool people" liked them and it had nothing to do with their music, which was indistinguishable from any other similar band at the time
What I Got is still in my master playlist though

i always hated on sublime because i was into hardcore punk, and sublime is just the antithesis of that - doods hackeysacking with dreads and saying "no worries brah" etc.
other than that one song they had that was really big, i haven't really heard them. for all i know, they're good. they're really weird in that the guys in the band seem like you could talk to them about black flag, gorilla biscuits, dead kennedys, etc. but they made music for burnout surfer bros.
