Played real golf (9 hole) today for first time ever, got a birdie and a par.

Can't wait to do this shit again. |

Just start with super GI clubs (ai max fast, qi10, g430 HL) or super forgiving distance irons (p790), no irons longer than 6i and graphite shafts with Winn grips.
GI clubs make it so much easier to hit straight but downside is you learn slower imo
Drivers are lighter and more forgiving than ever.
Take golf lessons somewhere indoors that uses simulator and video camera for swing analysis. This will give you way faster progression than any outdoor or bullshit group lessons.
After 1-3 lessons you'll feel ok playing alone on a 9-hole course.
After a year you can upgrade to player's distance irons or blades and get a cool bag, fancy shoes etc |
