Macomb County Sportsmen's Club. My father-in-law has been a member for over 40 years.

A bit far for me, I'm considering OCSC or Multi Lakes. The race track at Oakland would be sweet to get into, but I don't really know anyone there and their work/volunteer requirements seem to be much more.

I appreciate the offer but I'm imminently moving to Plymouth/Northville and formed babby recently, just won't have the time to make the hike up to Stony regularly enough. It would be a no-brainer if I was going to Rochester.

That's fair. I'm trying to find a club to join in Traverse City now.

RIP your buddy.

But it’s more prestigious to be a member of a “Gun, Rod, & Sportsmen Club.” Well… maybe not more prestigious. But it gives you some out when you’re talking to ShitLib colleagues about where you spend your time. And lets your spouse think that you’re going to do something more than a range trip and drinking a beer in the clubhouse on a Sunday evening while the kids are at youth group at church around the corner.
