1) make an appointment at the local passport office
2) buy a fully refundable international ticket to anywhere for the evening of your appointment
3) go to your appointment and say you need them to process it that day bc you have a flight
4) cancel the ticket

That depends on how much you're willing to pay and how much effort you're willing to make. Normally it's a few months but in a pinch you can get it done in a day or two.
Edit: on further thought I'm not sure whether rushing it actually costs more or just requires more effort.
