That means that we vote for Postra to put Postra in the position of getting to either take transactions on the Tezos network and publish them in an official block, or to endorse such a block as being properly calculated and made of valid transactions. Postra gets paid by the Tezos protocol for either, and he has committed to distribute 95% of his payments to those who have delegated to him.
In the Tezos protocol delegators are not punished for the bad acts or inactions of delegatees/nodes, so the delegators can never be directly punished for node misdeeds. (Except by opportunity cost, but you're already bearing opportunity cost if you haven't delegated to anyone yet.) |
