Bach, Beethoven, Mozart are consensus top three so that isn't really possible. Mahler is def top 20 but he's not that great.

stfu. mahler was drifty and self indulgent. like salman rushdie. every ten minutes his music achieved something remarkable, but his flow was weak as fuck. ten minutes is a long time for failing to reward your audience's patience. this is why bill clinton's speech deserves only a 9.5 instead of a perfect ten; and mahler was no clinton.

he's certainly no purcell or even debussy. and thus he's no vivaldi or chopin. hencforth, he's no mozart or bach. in short, he's sps compated to the greats. but he's at least as good as james taylor.

1. It is somewhat improbable Mahler's GOATness, given the widely held positions of Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven.

2. That Wagner is superior to Mahler, there is no debating. Whose children are these?

3.Mahler in his medium produced insufficient results, similar to Rushdie's genius, because both are geniuses but this could mean little as to whether or not one should be remembered.

D. Only answers 2 and 3, not 1, from above.

Bach, Beethoven, Dvorak, and Brahms are all better. And I'd argue Debussy and Chopin as well.
