I became aware of Alpha Brain in a very chance, serendipitous sort of way. I was out one very late summer night walking my dog (my beloved Siberian Husky) in my neighborhood, and we happened to walk down a street I believe we'd never walked down before. One of the houses on this street had evidently had a yard sale that day, and they had left some or all of the remaining items out at the curb for anyone to take for free. There was a small box of books there which I flipped through. One book that intrigued me was called "Alpha Brain Waves". It looked like a semi-scholarly book written in the late 60's-early 70's, the kind of book you could only find today buried deep in a university library. I took it and a few others and went home. Having been fascinated with dreams since reading many of the Carlos Castaneda books, I did an Amazon search for "alpha brain waves" and the Alpha Brain supplements came up (the book did not). When I read about the supplements' ability to help with dreams and perhaps even facilitate lucid dreams, I knew I had to try them.

Having tried them, I have had some unexpectedly pleasant results with my dreams since then. What I've found is that the dreams I've had were much more "down to earth" than normal dreams: no strange, otherworldly things or beings. Everything seemed very real and in present space/time. Plus the dreams seemed to be more focused and longer lasting. Much more like normal waking reality than my dreams normally are. Another element is the dreams I had often involved famous people, particularly musicians I deeply admire (I'm a huge music fan).

So I want to tell in detail a wonderful dream I just woke up from (while it's still fresh in my memory) after taking 2 Alpha Brain pills earlier tonight.

In the dream I woke up in a stranger's house in the morning. It was a very large house built on a cliff side overlooking a river, almost more like a stream, and there were ordinary looking houses on the other side of the river. My mom was there and I asked her how it had been that we'd been invited there, with me having only a dim recollection from the night before of what had happened (I strongly suspected I had been drinking heavily the night before and had forgotten almost everything that had happened). What I started to piece together as I talked to my mom and walked around the house is that I had had some sort of encounter with a fellow named Paul McGuinness who happens to be the manager of the rock band U2 and has been with the band since they started in the 1970's. I have no idea what I said to Paul or anyone else present the previous night but I must have been charming enough to Paul to really get a special treat. I realized then that we had been invited to stay at Bono's house situated somewhere on a private island!

After a while I realized some sort of press conference was being organized and assembled at the house. It was partly intended to screen the new U2 documentary "From The Sky Down" (a doc I haven't seen yet but obviously must now!). I remember watching the doc's director sitting there as reporters from various countries stood in front of wireless cameras with the director in the background, no doubt prepping their viewers for what was about to come. I remember talking to my mom and telling her what was happening (that people half a world a way were watching this live through these reporter's camera eyes) and saying what a marvel the internet and technology was.

Then we all got a really unexpected treat. Everything went really dark and all the people attending the press conference were in this huge room with very sparse lighting. One by one the members of U2 walked out (it was still very dark everywhere), with a big pause between the third member to walk out and then Bono walked out to uproarious cheers. The band then started playing a very soft song I'd never heard before called something like "Blue, Baby Blue". The great thing about it was the band were interspersed and playing individually at different places in the room but all playing the same song, but it was so dark you really had no idea where they were until they were playing. I remember walking up and sitting down on some carpeted stairs which wound up being very close to Edge and listening to this song. There were absolutely no barriers between the band and the audience. No security personnel, no guard rails, nothing. It was like the band had invited a bunch of friends over and were showing off to them first some new material they had written. It was all very, very intimate and moving. Yet millions of people were no doubt watching this footage live in their own homes!

The band next kicked into a song long time fans will know well and that I recognized the opening bars of right away called "11 O'Clock Tick Tock". Thinking back, when the band first played in America this was one of their earliest and often played songs, and the crowds attending then (as now) would have been very, very small, at least relative to the massive numbers of people they play to today live.

What was then even more amazing was that I realized I had a live, switched on microphone in my hand and that I was free to sing along with the band and provide backing vocals and such and everyone else could hear me along with the band! I imagine that if I was a guitar player that a guitar would have appeared in my hands then and I could have played my axe along with the band!

The dream ended right about then, but I can tell you for me it was wonderful and gave me pause, much like many of the other dreams I have had since I started taking Alpha Brain. Highly recommended!

"Sleep ... Sleep tonight ... And may your dreams ... Be realized" - from U2's "MLK

got it b/c money back guarantee because I started a new job. tried that sumbitch out. And beyond mental alertness, it's affect on dreaming was the kicker. I went from basically going pitch black to waking up slowly went to VIVID as FUCK dreaming and waking up. Feet on floor, ready to face the day. I cant understate this simple life change--getting right up in the morning, has helped. I sometimes skip days and such for morning dosing, but I don't skip that one before sleep except on weekends.
