CNN names Jeff Zucker president
"Ending weeks of speculation, CNN confirmed Thursday that its news president is Jeff Zucker, the guy who so brilliantly climbed the ladder at NBC — which that broadcast network is still recovering from.
Zucker has been hired to be a “magnet for talent” and to broaden the definition of “news” for CNN, which has been in a world of ratings hurt domestically for some time."
LOL.
Incoming shitlibbery and "news broadening". There will now be zero credible cable news outlets.

reading into it a bit too much. "beyond news" is more likely to be something along the lines of cnbc's documentary series, which have been pretty successful.
probably won't help tho. cnbc's documentaries are p. neutral w.r.t. most politics, which is what makes them watchable. cnn would likely make pay-for-pbs style crap.
my quick solution for saving cnn:
-go aggressively centrist; enough that even the average fox/msnbc viewer will actually respect your balls in calling things as it is. staff that moan and howl get shown the door. they need to rebuild the brand as the serious, centrist, 24-hour news network or nobody will watch them.
-ditch soldad o'brien. she sucks.
-bump jack cafferty up to a big spot.
-bring rick sanchez back. fuck thin-skinned kikes. he didn't even say anything objectionable...well except that anything is if it isn't good for the jews.
lol, just kidding on the last one, sanchez sucks in quarterbacking as well as anchoring, but i sure like to troll the tribe.

If the law world rewarded failure the way the entertainment world does TMF would be a name partner at Skadden by now.
Zucker literally ruined NBC. NBC! How on earth could anyone hire him?
