He makes part of his money buy giving instructional tours to other people who are interested in biodynamic farming. Even with our small crop, we had to deal with insects, disease, rodents, and natural disasters. A lot of "what-ifs" involved in farming; however, you can do somethings to limit the disaster caused by disease and rodents.
From the age of 15-18, I would wake up at 5 am to feed the animals, go through the crops to look for rodent holes or disease, and then shower to go to school. Although, the moments I spent with my dad were the most 180 in my life. Especially when we would harvest the crops or kill a pig to eat. Felt like an amazing day watching everyone enjoy our hard work. |
