How do you get started in farming?

Even with our small crop, we had to deal with insects, disease, rodents, and natural disasters. A lot of "what-ifs" involved in farming; however, you can do somethings to limit the disaster caused by disease and rodents.
From the age of 15-18, I would wake up at 5 am to feed the animals, go through the crops to look for rodent holes or disease, and then shower to go to school. Although, the moments I spent with my dad were the most 180 in my life. Especially when we would harvest the crops or kill a pig to eat. Felt like an amazing day watching everyone enjoy our hard work. |
