Still, so many smaller brewers rotate cool things throughout the year, that I'm not sure how much the season really matters. |

my experience with american oktoberfests is that they tend to be too hoppy for the style, but i admit i'm pretty anti-hops. |

you can drink light, summery beers on warm september days. you can drink märzens at oktoberfests and more generally. you can drink full-bodied beers later in the season and during colder nights. |
