50% of my classmates got into Ivy Leagues and Amherst/Williams, this is the same at most of the top tier of private schools. Our admissions was good enough that many students could apply to Amherst or Columbia as a safety.
The girls only schools had some who looked like Blake Lively, but most of the girls were plain Jewish looking types. Definitely not the level you see in the show.
Some kids did cocaine, though most of us were pretty dorky. The really rich kids often rejected their parents' professional success because it frequently resulted in them not seeing their parents and having conflicts.
There were some pretty sordid sex and drug stories --- kid's parents would disappear and they would hold a party in a MFH 5-story townhouse.
