Date: November 25th, 2014 2:05 PM Author: Jade Underhanded Sanctuary Coffee Pot it's because the institutions outsource those jobs these days. universities used to employ cleaners directly and pay a low but decent wage along with health care. now they outsource to companies who pay lower wages and no health care. these outsourcing firms may or may not verify and schedule people at the last second. with the savings to the institution, administrators justify their existence and fat salaries.
employee diversity doesn't enter the equation at all. |
