I've been going down twice a week with a backpack filled with ice and a pool cue I converted on the fat end into a net. helpful if you have access to them (I don't as of now) are some bread and a flashlight
yesterday's trip was worse than average but I still managed to bag a few dozen fingerling crayfish and a nice duck |

The problem is that being truly satisfied with the product requires that you not only enjoy cooking in general, but that you also just so happen to be in the mood to cook at a given time. Because it is pretty involved, and you always end up with like three dozen fucking dirty dishes just from cooking dinner for two. In the end, I found it to be a product/company that thought it was solving a problem, when the problem doesn't actually exist, or at least the gravity of the problem isn't nearly so severe as they would have you believe. Like, oh gee, before Blue Apron, entire handfuls of cilantro and scallions were going totally wasted! |
