But if you want something indestructible, then you'd get a Hilux, a Land Cruiser or a G-Wagen, because those three are MEANT to be indestructible. Land Cruisers are an independent platform altogether, although they're truck-based.
The Hilux is originally from Hino Motors, which Toyota acquired 40+ years ago. The Fortuner (the 4runner's cousin) is directly based on the Hilux. There is some platform sharing. |
