Date: August 19th, 2016 10:39 AM Author: Heady den Good. I firmly believe that enough of the silent majority supports Trump's policies that he would have easily won had he pivoted after the convention and not become an unhinged buffoon. Still pisses me off.
The point of pivoting, or being more restrained, is to show voters that you won't go crazy and launch nukes if some other world leader makes fun of you. And it allows people to publicly support you. Right now he makes that too difficult with some of the stupid shit he says.
But better late than never I suppose. He needs to show he can act presidential over the next couple of months, really show the voters that the media is painting a false caricature of him, and hopefully he will rise enough in the polls to make this a competitive race. |
