looks like she only did bars in the team finals, and she did better than biles but worse than madison. so, she contributed to the team victory.

and regarding the AA, she was fighting for bronze. no guarantee that she would have gotten it.
gabby doesn't have a SINGLE medal, world championships or olympics, in one of the four events. that is nuts. she's also the only olympic all-around champion to not medal in an event finals, which is even more significant because she had two bites at the apple. |

not a gymnastics MFE, but i think what you've said before is that she just overperformed her potential at the highest level in 2012. so what? that's what sports are about. i don't think either of us would say she doesnt 'deserve' her 2012 AA gold. |

what do you make of this? did she choke in 2012 in the individual events, or just overperformed in the AA?
why wasnt the in the vault finals? looks like she tied mckayla for the highest score.

in qualifications, if you want to try to qualify for vault finals, you have to do a second vault that is different from your first vault. only certain girls attempt to qualify for vault finals by performing a 2nd vault. |
