But it was often a pain at drill because things would come up. The more senior you are at the firm the more of an issue it is. If you are a first year other folks at the firm can just leave you alone. But if you have your own cases those cases won't stop just because you're at drill or AT. I drafted many pleadings from humvees, range towers, etc. And when I was at work at the firm I'd always get calls from my unit or battalion commander (especially when I was a company commander) about random bullshit.
