Why is Uber advertising their jobs like crazy???

Date: January 6th, 2017 12:14 AM Author: buff trailer park big advantage really. seamless isn't really a service per se--you're still receiving delivery from the restaurants from delivery people who work for the restaurant. ubereats (and a bunch of competitors like caviar) have their own people deliver the food, so a lot of more upscale places that don't do delivery are on it since its really just making a take out order to them. ubereats is generally a lot faster (~20-30 min) than most of my seamless orders (45min-1 hr). I'm pretty sure Uber subsidizes the shit out of rides, especially if you aren't driving peak hours. Which is why I'm not that bullish on Uber compared to valuation.
I remember more than one Uber driver who told me Uber guaranteed him $40-50 for any hour where he did two trips, no matter how short...I figured for each of those hours Uber lost a good bit of money |
