To save our bort Trumpmos from having to waste energy, I'll just pre-type standard responses: - how is ever going to get elected now? - why would he decide to be likable now when being an ahole got him this far? - Who cares? he's rich, that's what's important. That must mean he's likable too. - Who cares? We didn't elect him to be likable.

As somebody who was fearful of Trump building an alt-right echo chamber I was happy that he went for people with strong resumes and personalities who wouldnt just kiss his ass (mattis, haley, tillerson, kelly etc). none of them have supported his controversial statements during the campaign which to be fair trump himself didnt really believe in
look at how he is approaching immigration enforcement now vs his campaign rhetoric for ex
his only core belief and something he has strongly expressed for all his life is his opposition to "free" trade deals . and he is right there and we need to correct (not reverse) our trade policies. |
