Getting extra sleep each night helps a lot, it's just hard to do. I think some of us naturally need more sleep in the winter.

Also those lamps help. It's actually a serotonin deficiency, not vitamin d.

I was told brightness (lumens) is the most important factor, more than full spectrum or whatever. I was recommended 10000 or more lumens for 30 mins in the morning. If you use it all day you probably don't need as bright.
