Voting on election day is as easy as knowing someone's name and address, that's it. You walk into the site, give your name ... they look it up in a huge printed book, ask you for your address which must match what's printed, then are given a ballot.

The CA secretary of state claims this is way more secure than somebody checking a box on an affidavit that they're a citizen when they register to vote.
