An executive isn't always going to do all the background research on on every decision he needs to make. He relies on trusted advisors to do that and summarize the action items he needs to take. He can ask questions if he has them.
That's why a lot of my clients don't want a summary of trademark law; they want a short email explaining what steps to take to best strengthen their trademark rights (trusting that I am distilling the relevant information down to bite size form). |
