The new TV show "Stranded with a million dollars" is mega killself depressing

There are no challenges or vote offs, people can quit at any time by firing a flare gun. They can buy supplies for exorbitant prices like a hatchet costs $30,000, a pizza is 5,000 etc
So this one white chad, texas national guard bro quickly realizes the cr thing to do is not buy any supplies so people quit sooner, and there is more prize money left at the end.
he is able to barely pursuade the group to go along. A few days pass and a couple people have quit, now its a group of 4 minorities, a black dude, azn girl, a faggot, a fat mexican mom who lives in a trailer vs 2 white chads and a hot white chick
In episode 2 having a 4-3 advantage the group of minorities decide to buy a tent, fire starter, machete, pizza, etc with the groups money and keep it to themselves. They spent like 120,000 on all this, and they wont share any of it with the others. All i could think about was this is the future of our country and we are so utterly fucked |

And even more than that: once people quit, the leaders of the majority-group can start kicking members out of their group to keep their group a bare majority, and deny them food too until they also quit. |

That strategy doesn't work if your physically unable to endure without supplies and likely to leave early (which having seen Survivor is often the case with the less "outdoorsy" groups).
The game is not much different from Survivor. You don't necessarily want to be the most fit guy who can win all the challenges and get lots of food for your tribe. You become a threat and unless you work on making alliances/friendships you're finished. |

While shows like Survivor are incredibly cheesy, they do show how the "weak" parties in any social setting (ancient tribe or modern day) can gain strength through numbers, leadership, persuasion, etc. This show is an obvious rip-off of Survivor, and like the first season of Survivor, the contestants are learning on their own the power of forging alliances.
