4. moves in with a new boyfriend, never brings the kid around, never mentions anything is wrong
5. kid's body is found with duct tape covering the nose and mouth.
you have to be -80iq to believe she didn't kill her. if she was a minority or a fat white woman, she would be murder conviction pwned right now. |

They went on about it in the opening and closing arguments, but literally never provided a single shred of evidence during the trial. The State should have HAMMERED him during the closing that the jury can't even consider it a possibility if no evidence was provided. You can't just say "well MAYBE she was kidnapped by an alien. WE DON'T KNOW!"
The State also blew it on the chloroform thing. She had visited a page that gave step-by-step instructions on how to make chloroform at home. They later changed it to something else and no one checked the archive or wayback machine. The website owner was really pissed afterward and said if he'd known it was for this trial he would have provided the old info. |

In OJ, IIRC, they also pulled some underhanded shit during openings, plus a bunch of other shit, plus the now infamous racial angle that in hindsight made zero fucking sense. Gave the jurors an out to counteract the difficulty of believing someone could do what the prosecution said she did. Not inconsistent with the evidence either. That was some nice as fuck work on that case. |
