Seems like t would help the shitty economies in those cities , D.C. Wouldn't miss a few shitty sub agencies, and the bureaucrats would love the comparative low cost of living.

Economically distressed western states that voted trump? I think the rust belt Pennsylvania and Michigan and Ohio voters are a must in 2020. Mormon chucks in Utah are doing fine and they're with Trump either way.

Obviously my Detroit example was a little SPS but they'd have cheap offices for the bureaucrats

How is the Detroit example SPS? It's probably more realistic than Youngstown seeing as Detroit has plenty of office space available and some BIGBRUNCH spots to ease the transition.

Are there many Trump voters in Detroit Michigan? I assume not but could be wrong. Might as well give back to the swing votes he'll need in 2020

There's probably economies of scale. And for some agencies it's probably nice to be in D.C. To be close to politicians. But I'm sure some shit FEMA sunagency would be fine in the middle of nowhere.

"bureaucrats would love the comparative low cost of living."

Lol...wrong. A lot of these fuckers think they are sophisticated intellectuals doing really important work and need to be in the Capital!!!!!

There are, of course, those happy to do nothing and ride the cant-get-fired train...but the rest of them have a shrew like pride in themselves.

Sending their meaningless job to some former Youngstown factory worker would probably teach them a thing or two then.

True!

Though I will also add that DC has some how created this weird bread of just-competent-enough negros. They aren't cornball Oreo black yuppies...they are still lazy nigs. But they know how to do their gubment job just good enough. There are tens of thousands of these that drive into DC from Prince Georges Maryland daily.

Didn't know that. Looks like HQ is still in the D.C. Area but they have a 120-person office in Mich. looks like an obama 2012 plan to woo some Michigan voters.
