The MSM has been doing this and you guys won't stop bitching about "anonymous sources" as if that hasn't been a thing for the past 50 years. You all accused the media of being partisan hacks when the original Flynn leaks happened, but isn't that the kind of thing the American public deserves to know?
But yes it is the job of the media and yes they don't engage in that type of behavior as much as they used.
BUT the transparency argument doesn't work when Russia CLEARLY favors certain candidates over others and only releases information designed to damage one side. Trumpmos could have made this entire thing go away pretty easily if they would have just admitted that Russia meddled in the election and did it to delegitimize our democracy--which everyone with at least 3 brain cells acknowledges was their intention from the beginning. The minute Trumpmos tried to morally justify all this shit is when you guys opened yourself up to attacks of collusion. |
