BUT the transparency argument doesn't work when Russia CLEARLY favors certain candidates over others and only releases information designed to damage one side. As for the anonnous sources - my beef is that there is no corroboration. At least during Watergate the WAPO corroborated their leaks from Deep Throat with real investigation and coroboration. Now they just fucking print anything an anonymous "current or former official" tells them.
