does it help with anxiety at all? my dr doesn't want to give me a script for Xanax and the beta blockers didn't do shit.

I've been on Paxil for a couple months now. I'm generally an introvertmo and it's made me somewhat less socially anxious and more talkative once I'm in a conversation. However, I still have some mild paranoia. Also, I'm slightly concerned that it's dulled my focus at work and my emotions.

It's a good thing your doctor isn't giving you Xanax, I'll tell you that. It's insanely addictive. You start getting withdrawals when you come off just a few days of use, and they last for ages.

Yeah anxiety is fucking brutal. I hate it more than almost anything else. It keeps you from doing things that you know you want to do, or should do. At least depression takes away the desire with the means.

Took it once as a teenager for anxiety and depression. After a few days of taking it I got pretty high for like 40min. I guess that happens to some people. Noticed NO EFFECT on anxiety or depression.
