i LOL absolutely LOL whenever i hear some idiot talk about moving to Los Angeles to live the SoCal lifestyle. NEWSFLASH — Los Angeles is a piece of shit. Traffic, hipsters, and poor Mexicans, and smug rich people are what makes it incredibly unattractive and terrible to live in.
Orange County is around 60 percent white. The second largest group are Latinos, and these Latinos aren't like your Los Angeles Latino. Nope. They have assimilated and want to live in peace. They get along with the whites very well. The third largest group are asians. And unless you live in irvine, westminster, garden grove, you won't have a problem. Black people are less than 2.5 percent of the population. I'll repeat that: less than 2.5 percent. You basically wont bump into a black person, ever.
Lastly, the beaches in Orange County are top notch. Traffic sucks but not like Santa Monica, Venice, or even Manhattan Beach. Locals here no where to park and then walk/bike to the beach.
LJL at faggot East Coast people thinking Los Angeles is still the shit.

The author of this poast has some of the worst mental illness I've seen on this bort.
First, it's the constant Orange County threading. I was born and live in one of the richest neighborhoods here. Nobody compares shit to LA. No one talks about money. We just slide and let do.
Second, the author avoids discourse with other south OC xo poasters because he knows he'll get styled on for living in Fullerton/Fountain Valley or whatever. Questioned on landmarks that any local denizen would recognize, he'd fail horribly.
Third, he talks about Mexicans like they are scourge and whites like they are gods HOWEVER the author himself is a Mexican, albeit one that is oddly interested in the south county housing market.
Finally, the anti-san diego flame is terrible. Sure, don't live in the shit ghettos, but La Jolla/Torrey Pines/most of Del Mar and Carlsbad are identical to South OC living conditions. LA is the same way. It's such a joke that Brentwood/Santa Monica/Pacific Palisades are TTT shitholds. They're great and I enjoy visiting them.
This "South OC" lifestyle he goes on about exists, but to a point. There is plenty of gang drama between warring mexis in SJC and San Clemente. This isn't solely relegated to the mean streets of Santa Ana. He doesn't know about the race riots that happened at Capo Valley and San Clemente High few years back.
He's a delusional north OC mexican who probably experiences near car-crashes while ogling Pelican Hill from his daily PCH drive throughs.
Oh, and from a south county high school perspective: many kids were addicted to opiates and it was not ideal. Check out a documentary called "behind the orange curtain", it's not like SOC was purely a paradise growing up.
