if you have ability then the US will offer you the most opportunities by far. has scale that european countries don't have. if you can do something as simple as coding you can find a decent job in the US. and you will be taxed far less than you would be anywhere else.

if you are prole and skillless then you might be better off in scandanavia or something. different question then. assuming that most people on this bort are umc-caliber.

you can say at this point in your life that you'd like to move elsewhere but being born elsewhere you wouldn't have had the educational or professional opportunities on which you built the foundation of your life here, and you will be costing your children some of these opportunities by going elsewhere. even going to a decent state university in the US is a big deal from a global perspective. the guys who graduated in the middle of your high school class and went to state U are getting world-class educations if they pick the right major. having been born in the richest country in the history of the world is worth a lot, that goes lost on most people.

NZ has fewer security concerns, but so does iowa. NZ has nature, but so does utah. NZ has homogeneity but so does idaho. etc. etc.
