norcal (SF bay area) is better nature, more city like, much uglier people

Northern and Central Mendo/Southern Humboldt are probably the worst, in the stretch from Laytonville to Whitethorn. Like in most places, it gets worse inland and is generally OK on the coast. Shelter Cove is cool as shit.
Coastal Sonoma and southern Mendo are basically paradise and meth/opiate free.
The central coast has problem spots around northern Monterey County but most of it is too rich. |
