I'd LOVE that, but what gives you any indication this could be the case?

From what I can tell, Trump likes Bannon on a personal level, but HATES the meme that Bannon is the brains of the operation, and frequently did not listen to him when he was in the WH.

Trump LOVES a winner, and if Bannon keeps calling it like he did with Moore he will gladly bring him back

and maybe Bannon will learn to keep his head down. after all, never outshine the master is one of the golden rules

He can't control how SNL portrays him. That's what started it all, and made Trump furious.

Of course. Trump is stupid enough to fall for this obvious trick.

Ever notice that (((they))) don't push the same meme for McMaster? Even though there's a ton of more supporting evidence.

How did he fuck up? In fact, it seems like they're working in tandem. Bannon probably realized that the Swamp is Deep State territory. The federal government is immense; its inertia cannot be stopped by the President alone, you need a friendly legislature and judiciary to be able to overcome the millions of people working to undermine Trump's presidency. Trump has neither, so it's not surprising that 9 months into his presidency very little has been accomplished.

To add to that, even before Charlottesville, Bannon in the White House was a distraction to Trump and to his agenda. Trump constantly had to field questions about his support of Bannon and whether he had a a white nationalist as a senior adviser. By leaving the White House, Bannon is free to pursue his plans (because let's be honest, people on xo support Trump because they like Bannon's plans) via electoral means. He can use the power of Breibart and his relationship with Trump to get "friendly" people elected. You think that just because Trump "supported" Strange in the LA election Moore isn't a Trump-mo at heart? Trump also got additional room to move since he's no longer asked about Bannon.

"You think that just because Trump "supported" Strange in the LA election Moore isn't a Trump-mo at heart?"

So what's your take on it then? Trump has so little balls that he's bullied by Never Trump cucks into holding a rally and campaigning against a guy he secretly likes? You don't consider that a fuck up, or evidence of weak character?

Who actually thinks Trump has "strong" character? LJL. The guy is a used-car salesman turned celebrity. He'll say and do anything to get what he wants, so long as you sign on the dotted line.

Supporting Moore would have been a direct attack on McConnell and GOP leadership. Trump and the GOP already don't see eye-to-eye, but supporting Moore while the Senate Leadership Fund spent millions to get Strange elected would've created an immense rift between the two sides. It would've have signaled to GOP leadership that Trump wants his people in power and that they either resign (lol), support Trump's agenda (lol) or move to neuter Trump in order to prevent him from winning in 2020. Trump played his best card: support Strange, even though the word on the ground (probably from Bannon) was that Moore would get the upset. He gets to tell McConnell that he did his best and that if any legislation is to be passed, they need to work together. McConnell can either do that or he can declare war on Trump knowing that more candidates like Moore will be waiting to take on incumbents in 2018 and 2020. Either way, Trump comes out on top.

Don't you think the cucks have embarrassed Trump enough already? See Obamacare and the chilly reception to Trump's plan for skills based immigration.

What benefit does Trump get in telling McConnell that he tried his best? He gets to appease a group that's already demonstrated they don't share his agenda and would toss him if they could get away with it?

I think Trump should have supported Moore from the beginning. He'd still end up in the same position he is now, which you claim is an indication that he came out on top. Cucks would hate him just the same, but should be too fearful to do anything because they know the base wants them gone.

He's stuck with McConnell his entire first term. He can either play nice in front of the cameras or he can declare open warfare on the GOP and risk being a lame-duck president at least until 2018, if not his entire first term. Trump is not a Republican and that showed when they tried to get him to drop out and resign up until he won the fucking election. There's already 48 votes for impeachment from Dems/Independents. Do you think McConnell can't find 19 Republicans to impeach him if Trump declares war on them?
