I hate java tbh, it’s so verbose doing anything feels like you have to write the name of he class 3 times.
I’ve worked a lot with Swift and objective-c. Swift is much easier to code in. Easier to read for non-iOS devs because the syntax apes the good parts of python and JavaScript. Optionals basically force you to check for null and “show your work”, this is actually kind of a pain but can prevent careless errors.
Kotlin is similar to swift in many ways. TBF I’m not sure this all out weighs the pain in the ass of learning some new language and probably rewriting a bunch of code
