Did you ever fuck with people in chatrooms, like pretend to be a chick for lulz?

Yeah this can become problematic though. When I was really into RuneScape I pretended to be a girl to fuck with people but actually kind of enjoyed it after a while. I was 13. In RuneScape I met another girl and got her AIM contact info and everything and eventually it blossomed into this entirely internet-based lesbian relationship. On one level I really enjoyed it because it felt so voyeuristic and bizarre--roleplaying as a lesbian--but at the same time it made me feel absolutely disgusted, guilty, and ashamed. This basically went on for about a year and a half. We'd play together on RuneScape for hours then after a long day of work would hop on AIM and do all sorts of dirty talk and send each other pictures. But in the end I was living a lie and eventually fessed up to confront a truth that had horrified me and sickened me to the bone: the bitch I had been chatting with for over a year was a dude. A 22 year old Hispanic man from Astoria, NY who had graduated from NYU but was then jobless and living in his mother's apartment. It scared the shit out of me because it made me realize not only how fucked up the internet and other people were, but also how deranged I was as well. I remember my heart POUNDING with confusion, fear, disgust, hate, anxiety, and a wealth of other negative emotions as I read the AIM messages that revealed my lover's true identity. I was legitimately suicidal that whole week after. Weird shit. Never again.
