It wasn't what we wanted. Biglaw partner totally stared his associate down and threw him under the bus. I could only imagine the reaming out he gave him as soon as the presentation was over. I would have done the same thing if I were the associate. It was an afterthought thing, like "it would have been nice if you had projected this through X year instead of Y year." The partner immediately just threw his associate under the bus and said it was "on them" and that they would do another seminar for us, free of charge, of course.
