Received a threatening call from someone who implied they had just been watching me move into a new apartment in a small complex (<10 units). Went from them being faggy to a switch flipping and total rage saying he was going to kill me. Trust me, in a moment like that, you'll want to have a gun.
I was LE at the time, though, and guy I worked with was 2 units down so he was at my door w/ his firearm as well. We went outside and eyeballed all the other units, I'm sure whoever called was watching us, and I wanted that fucker to see we were armed.
I do have one friend who shot up a Dennys; long story, but self defense in a gun friendly state, so he never was charged. |

At that point I called up my friend, asked him if he was playing some screwed up joke, and then we drew, called local/town police (we were campus), and walked outside to surveille the other units in the building. Created a huge scene w/ all 6 of the cops on duty in that town showing up w/ lights on, etc. Never heard from that sicko again. |

My bro is chilling there, but when he sees skinhead dude coming back into the Dennys, he decides to bolt out an exit, got to his van, and here is where in most states he would have been fucked...instead of driving away, he claims skinhead dude was pointing his gun at the van so he unloads 11 rounds into the wall of the building, skinhead's shoulder, not shitting you the cash register inside, etc. Complete circus, cost him about 10k in lawyer fees but he walked with nothing. Second time I didn't intervene at all, saw some guy walking down the street minding his own business when 3 or 4 nogs ran out and jumped his ass at a liquor store parking lot. Had him on the ground, kicking him in the ribs and head in a flash, I just backed my car up and drove away. Not my problem he didn't prepare himself. |

Ive done it three times. The first was when some kids approached me while I was waiting for a light to change. They were being rowdy and obviously trying to unnerve me and sort of started to move to surround me. I pulled the pepper gel from my pocket and hosed them down. Got the first two square in their ugly faces. The other two got spayed but not full on in their eyes. All took off running with the two disabled ones staggering around like a wounded deer. They went stumble-sprinting out into the street and I was sure they were going to get hit DET by a bus. So I set off at a nice brisk pace in the other direction. |
