You can get something that is reliable and boring but has basic "luxury" (Lexus RX, Acura MDX, Audi Q7), or get something like that but cheaper (4 Runner), get the better performing version of that with less reliability (Jeep Grand Cherokee), or go all out and get top performance and good in snow/off road but that will have just ok reliability (Mercedes GLC/GLE, Porsche Cayenne).

-Won't look like a prick to anyone. It's just a Toyota.
-Poor value brand new but can easily save $20-30k used and owners typically take good care of them.
My parents own the pre-facelift current generation and it runs like brand new at 150k miles, no wear on the interior or rattles. Nothing but routine maintenance ever. |
