now that they're basically privatizing all retirement investments, it's a way for GC to say fuck you to workers and make retirement harder, so yeah, it's a fucking scam that floats the stock market a little more with extra $$$
but it is what it is: 18.5K and employer $$$ pre-tax every year for 3+ decades can be something for the proles to use in their dying years
