Want compact laptop but want it to be apple and find a lot of the current options to be shit; can get a refurbished model for under 800
I usually use a 13.3 inch laptop, but I figure 11 inches for limited periods of time is fine for email and the occasional documents

get the new thinkpad X series, or an x220 ($150 tricked out all day long on ebay) and install elementary os
boom, ultraportable, great battery life, all the pesky functionality removed so it's cozy for mac users
