3) They "groom" the victim by first being really nice and buying them gifts. They typically don't jump straight to the rapey stuff until after they have established a repport with them.

4) After the rapey stuff starts they threaten the victim with shame as a way to intimidate them into silence. "You don't want your parents finding out that you were drinking alcohol and looking at porn, do you?"

5) Once the victim finally tells somebody (or it's accidentally disclosed) the ChoMo denies everything and points to the kids' screwed up life/family/home as proof that the kid is not worthy of belief.

There is a study where participants were hooked up to brain monitors while they watched various sex acts of all kinds, even animals. There's a bell curve of how people look at every age.
